Thinking Fast and Slow – for Contracts

Margaret is delighted to be speaking at the University Of Nottingham on 5th March alongside Professor Stephen Diacon, at the next Ingenuity KnowledgeXchange.

The Nobel Prize winner Dianiel Kahneman’s bestselling book ‘Thinking Fast and Slow’ describes 2 different ways of thinking – the intuitive, fast way, and the slower, more thoughtful approach. It’s a fascinating book, and in it he explains how we use both types of thinking to make choices, and how both systems have their strengths and limitations.

Steve Diacon will be discussing the academic research in this area and it’s implications for the management of business risk, whilst Margaret will be considering how the 2 systems impact upon contract negotiations. She will also be giving the audience some useful hints and tips upon how to use these 2 different systems more effectively when drafting or reviewing contract documentation.

It’s a free event – and breakfast will be provided – so if you would like to come along, please register here, and Steve and I will see you there!
